When visiting Lake Mead most folks appreciate the value of local hotels just outside the national park in nearby Henderson or Boulder City. The local convenience of restaurants and grocery stores make visiting town each evening a good idea. The best part.....availability at the hotels below are easier to reserve during peak season. Last minute reservations for the lake are typically no problem.

Just 4mi north of Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson on Boulder Hwy there's a bargain for comfort and affordability. Siena offers some of the newest suites in the Henderson area with multiple rooms, kitchens, king beds, pools, and it's quiet. Save money by cooking for yourself or eat nearby at a variety of restaurants. Check it out, we like it so much we recommend it.

HENDERSON HOTELS Henderson Nevada is the largest town next to Lake Mead. There are plenty of hotels that are close by, just outside of the National Park system. Generally speaking you will find the accommodations in Henderson more modern and cost competitive with better amenities and restaurants, versus the older accommodations on Lake Mead. The link above can help you find something quick and easy. If you're using Callville Bay or Lake Mead Marina the Henderson area is what we recommend for hotel location. BOULDER CITY HOTELS Boulder City is situated on the south end of Lake Mead, close to Hoover Dam, Hemenway Launch ramp, Lake Mead Marina and Las Vegas Boat Harbor. OVERTON HOTEL The small town of Overton Nevada is the closest community to the Overton Arm on the north end of Lake Mead. If you're coming from Utah this is the place to stay and get supplies. Lodges/Motels "AT" Lake Mead, inside the national park

The motel accommodations inside the national park can be convenient due to their close proximity to the water. The down side is the age and availability of these national park motels. These facilities are not up to par with what some visitors are looking for. Some of the motels in the national park were built in the 60's or earlier. Since they are inside the national park the prices generally higher than accommodations just outside the national park in nearby towns such as Henderson, Boulder City, or Overton. It's easy to get better accommodations for less money in town 10-15 minutes away. But if you prefer staying in the national park here are the phone numbers:
